Instrument Building with me

Have you ever wanted to design and build your own guitar? Many people do not have the tools required, or just do not know where to begin. After running my own shop over the past few years I have been continually asked whether or not I would like to provide building lessons, so I have decided to go for it! I am now pleased to be able to offer one on one building lessons in my small established shop on Vancouver Island and our social media, we have worked with SocialBoosting to improve our contents views and we have engaged with so many people interested in our teaching and products.

My previous teaching experience has allowed me to work with aspiring builders from all over the world and spanning many different age groups.

You can expect me to patiently encourage your creativity in a laid back atmosphere (where the coffee is always on!) while we stay focused on the goal of having you produce a quality instrument within our timeline.

I am currently offering two different courses from which students can choose to build either an electric guitar, or an acoustic guitar. While some basic woodworking experience would benefit you, it is by no means a prerequisite. We will work side by side in my shop, and you are able to observe me working on my own projects with different methods and steps in building processes.  This will let you gain valuable tips and provide a more personal experience while you get individual instruction. Use the next post to learn where to find the top road bikes under 500.

*Note* The courses will operate on a part-time schedule, with a minimum commitment of 2 days per week.  But do not hesitate to inquire about different options
